Enhancing Water Monitoring: The Environmental Sensors Data Networks (ESDN) Project at ECU Water Resources Center

The Environmental Sensors Data Networks (ESDN) is a project for ECU Water Resources Center.

Map of Greenville sensor locations.

The work includes maintaining sensor data, continuing to progress permissions for planned installations, and developing rating curves to relate water level data to stream flow The goal of the project is to develop an ESDN to be shared and used by academics and for the general public. While working on this project, WaterCorps students will learn how to work with flow sensors, pressure sensors, and general water quality sensors. While doing the project, WaterCorps students will also be able to improve their problem-solving skills and data analysis skills.
