WRC Stakeholder Summit 2024
The Water Resources Center held its 2024 Stakeholder Summit on April 4th, inviting faculty, staff, students, and community affiliates to come together and collaborate on the topic of water-related challenges in the Eastern North Carolina region.
Throughout the summit, we engaged in a diverse array of activities, including:
- Sharing innovative ideas to tackle water challenges head-on
- Introducing each other to a variety of organizations dedicated to water conservation and management
- Participating in panel discussions that shed light on the diverse challenges faced in our region
- Taking part in informative workshops like the CRISP Grant Writing Workshop
- Introduction to the North Carolina Community Information Portal
- Exploring our campus resources through an enlightening tour
On top of that, we collaborated with the ECU’s Research and Creative Activities Week (RCAW) to add another dimension to our summit experience. The poster session showcased the remarkable work of students, faculty, and community collaborators, further highlighting our collective dedication to advancing water research and innovation.
At this point, we would like to say thank you to everyone who was able to attend this year’s Water Resources Center Stakeholder Summit! We appreciate the great conversations we had and the new community connections we formed. We’re incredibly grateful for your support and dedication to tackling water challenges. Your contributions are vital in building a sustainable future!
