Interested in water, people, and the environment?
Please join us for an informational meeting on Pirates on Water, a new ECU student organization focused on water resources! Our virtual kickoff meeting will be held Wednesday, October 28th at 5 PM on Webex (Webex link: https://ecu.webex.com/ecu/j.php?MTID=m5191a540e7d09b8edbc4f70652a8e29b).
This student-driven organization aims to provide the following opportunities and activities:
- Career and networking opportunities
- Field trips
- Research and fieldwork opportunities
- Conference, travel, and research funding
- Guest lectures
- Alumni Water Network
- Community outreach activities
- Social activities
- Film Screenings
- Other ideas you have!
What we do will be dependent on you, the students! Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to join us. At this meeting, we will be electing student officers and discussing next steps for the club.
